 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By placing an order, making a payment or deposit with That Dessert Shop you agree to the terms and conditions following. 

IF YOU PLACE AN ONLINE ORDER WITH US, CANCELLATION TERMS ARE:

- For orders cancelled more than 48 hours before pick up or delivery date:

We do not offer refunds for orders cancelled. However if cancelled with more than 48 hours notice, you will receive an online voucher of equal value to your original order, subject to our discretion.

- For orders cancelled within 48 hours to the pick up or delivery date:

Any cancellations within 48 hours of booked orders will not receive a refund and we will not offer any credit vouchers. 

We have already put time, effort and other resources into managing your order. Your cancelled order will result in a booking spot that could have been booked by another customer. Besides all costs like ingredients and labour that have already been invested to complete your order.

CANCELLATIONS FOR CUSTOM ORDERS

The 30% deposit we request when placing your order is non-refundable.

CUSTOM orders that have been paid in full and require a refund can be cancelled up to 8 days prior to booked date, this does not include the deposit as it's non refundable. No refunds or credit vouchers will be given if cancelled within 8 days of booked date. We can possibly change the date of your order if the date requested is available.

ORDER COLLECTION & DELIVERY:

When collecting your order you accept full responsibility for your order. Unfortunately we are unable to offer compensation for damages that incurred during or after transit for orders that were picked up from our address by you or a third party organised by you. We will send cake care instructions for transporting and storage of your cake, but it still remains your responsibility to care for it when carrying, transporting and storing.

For orders delivered by That Dessert Shop: In the event of any issues, please contact us as soon as possible so we can offer assistance as necessary.

Please make sure you are at the designated location and at the agreed time as we respect your time and expect you to respect ours. In case anything changes it's your responsibility to inform us so we can get the product to you or reschedule delivery within the item's expiration date.

PRODUCT QUALITY CONCERNS:

We are proud of the products we offer, with care and professionalism, we will do everything we can to offer the best product to our customers, but as any handcrafted item, there is a chance for things to go wrong. If anything happens, we will answer accordingly depending on how fast you contact us.

Prior to serving or consumption: however possible, we will rectify the issue. If you let us know with enough notice before your event, we will consider replacing the product or compensate you accordingly. Full compensation is subject to our discretion.

During or after serving/consumption: If consumed fully before or after you inform us we will not refund any amount or credit vouchers. Depending on the extent of the problem, such as quality issues, damage or design, partial refund might be offered. You will be required to provide photos and return the uneaten product so we can assess.

UNFORESEENABLE CIRCUMSTANCES

Any orders that we are unable to complete will be voided, and you will receive an online voucher equivalent to the full value of the original order. We do not provide refunds for online orders as listed above.

ALLERGY

Please be aware that we are NOT AN ALLERGY SPECIALIZED KITCHEN and all our products may contain traces of allergens including but not limited to gluten, wheat, eggs, dairy, nuts and soy.

PHOTOGRAPHS

Photos are taken of all orders for advertising and creative purposes, however they are only posted after collection or delivery of your order.
